Amazon Festive Offers - Bad User Experience
You will hear this in coming days as Diwali is nearing by. And all the e-commerce segment businesses will advertise this kind of messages through mails, SMS's, on Social Media sites, etc.
Since Diwali is coming up, I was planning to purchase one sneakers and I happened to login on Amazon being a Amazon Prime member. And while I was going through the list of sneakers which were in my budget, I liked one of them w.r.t. color, brand and price. So, I clicked on it to go in details of that particular item.
When I clicked, I saw that the price changed. I went back on list page thinking that I clicked on wrong item. But the result happened to be the same. I saw other options that I had for the same brand thinking that possibly the rate was for some other color shoe of same brand. But even that didn't turn out right. All the items were above the price they mentioned outside.
It created a bad user experience for me and it made me to shift to some other e-commerce website to purchase the shoes.
- See to it that you are not marketing just to attract users.
- Market with correct price of the item.
- Please mention correct price when you are displaying the items.
