Canva - Onboarding Journey
Everyone wants an attractive interface for everything but it's not easy to design an attractive interface without having knowledge of designs and colors.
As a product enthusiast, I like to play with different products and recently I was searching for a product which can help non-designers like me to get a good designed poster, cards, resumes and more.
I found Canva which solved the problem of non-designers amazingly. When I visited Canva first time, I was thinking it will ask me to do login and then It will normally show me different designs but No!
Here is what I saw in my on-boarding journey on Canva,
1 - Before signup/login, it asked user's need for it.
2 - In the signup, password test process helped users to set a perfect password.
3 - After signup, again asked users for which purpose user need design
4 - A user can add other members and create a team
5 - after setting everything, asked a user to choose a design for book cover, logo, poster etc.
6 - After selecting everything It displayed home page as per user's need.
Why I love it?
- Canva focused on user's need in each step
- Asked users what they want before the showing actual features
- Also Helped user for password set
