Gmail - First Time Experience of New Gmail
Google has done the biggest revamp of Gmail in recent years.
Most of us would have Gmail as their primary or secondary Email Service. Yesterday happened to open Gmail on the Web and there it is a New Avatar, new look and feel, a side panel of Add-Ons. Google calendar, Tasks, Keep Notes integrated by default and also room for getting more Add-Ons.
Just out of curiosity explored this feature, you can Unhide/Hide side panel with the help of an arrow button.
Google Calendar: Have direct access to day to day timeline of google calendar. You can Add/Edit to your timeline, check your schedule, create a new event
Tasks: Can Create/Delete new tasks, add a date to it, add sub-tasks to it. Can also create different Task Lists. Mark Task as completed.
Keep Notes: Get many random ideas and don't know where to store them, then this is for you. Put all your Ideas, poetry, resourceful texts together into Keep Notes.
There are many other Gmail Add-Ons to select from G Suit Marketplace and easily access them in side-panel for later usage. Can also open Add-Ons in a new window, could also add Google Keep extension into your browser for better managing your Notes.
1. Integrating your different products into the most commonly used one increases the usability of other products too.
2. Simple UI and handy accessibility intrigue user to explore other products and features.
