Grofers - Reschedule Your Order
The other day I was planning to order grocery for home. I usually buy from Big Basket or Grofers. I had opened Grofers because of good customer experience. I started finding items using search as I had a list prepared. I added few items in cart such as Flour, Raisin, Sugar, Edible Oil and placed the order. I completed this process in nearly 5 minutes and the delivery would happen between 8 PM to 11 PM.
After few hours my close friend gave me a call and asked me to visit his place. So, I decided to cancel my order. I opened Grofers App to cancel the order. I was able to see the order progress. It was “Packed”. I tapped inside and interestingly I was able to see “Change” option. I was surprised and equally felt good as I could change my date and time.
I immediately tapped on “Change” and I was able to see option to update date and time. It was really great and unexpected. I selected suitable date and time slot and Rescheduled my order. In some seconds, I received a confirmation message from Grofers. Amazing and delightful experience. I would have canceled my order if I could not have seen Change option. I was equally worried about finding all items and placing order again as it requires lot of time and efforts. It’s definitely great experience and I would like to thank Grofers for the same.
I assume that change in schedule could happen with many customers like me. Providing Reschedule Order functionality not only provides flexibility of updating date and time slot but also provides ability to customers to accomplish their other tasks. This is one of the best solution I have seen for rescheduling order. Perhaps, Grofer would be retaining more orders as user would rather Reschedule than canceling their order.
What can be improvised:
