James Dyson Award - Loosing Data When Page Refreshed
In my previous article, I mentioned that I was not able to check whether the file I am trying to upload is getting uploaded or not.
Since it was not visible with naked eye that file was really uploading, I thought of just refreshing the page.
Who knew that they will just erase of every single entry in the form. At least they should have given an alert message saying that if I refresh, all the existing data will be lost.
And I had to enter all the data back till the point they asked me to upload the file.
User may be from non-technical background. So raising an alert message is very important in critical situations.
Give an alert message if user has entered some data and tries to refresh the page.
