LinkedIn - Bad Page Redirection Experience
Everyone knows about the LinkedIn and we are using it for professional use. I am also using LinkedIn for my profession. As a product lover and always curious to identify user's need, Recently one bad design of LinkedIn attracted my attention.
And, It is bad page redirection functionality of LinkedIn.
I was just checking new stuff on LinkedIn and found one video in one post and I stopped there to watch that video. At the same time, I received one new notification. and What was in my mind at that time is, "Video will not pause and I can check that notification like Facebook". So I clicked on the notification button and It redirected to the new notification page.
This design of LinkedIn interrupted my attention from the video and again I had to go back to home page and I had to search that video.
1. Good design of the product is important for customer's satisfaction.
2. Design that interrupts the user's ongoing task is bad design practice.
