LinkedIn- Options for Post Visibility
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, WhatsApp, etc. So many social media channels available in present era to publicize your product/services. But one think I always thought that whatever I am sharing on these channels, whom they are reaching to and at the same time whether those people are clicking on them or not.
Let say for example LinkedIn. When I share some quality information through my profile on LinkedIn, I was not aware of whom is it reaching to. Second doubt is already solved by LinkedIn since they have click through ratio which indicates how many of them have clicked. But I was not able to give some direction to my post. I mean to say that I was not able to set some conditions using which it can reach out to people.
LinkedIn without any extra work, helped in solving my query. They provided a list of options before I share my post. It asks me whom I am aiming to show this posts i.e. to my contacts, anyone on LinkedIn, may be in some group I have joined, etc. This really helped me to avoid unnecessary time consumed to check where my posts are reaching.
- Ease the user actions to get proper output to user.
- Reduce the steps to perform any result oriented action that is to be taken by user.
- May be they can bring in option like age group to get the target audience focused marketing.
