Twitter - Reset Password
Yesterday, I was surfing on my laptop and thought to login my Twitter account and guess what? I forgot my password. Then I clicked on “Forgot Password?” option to reset password.
The new page arrived saying “Find Your Twitter account” via email, phone number or username. I did it with username and in next page they asked me to select options such as my “phone number and mail id”. These information I had provided before signing my Twitter account.
The surprising thing is they did not revealed whole information instead they hide it with asterisk ( * ). So, I chose to reset it via Email and clicked on “Continue” button.
Furthermore, I got email in my Gmail from Twitter and by clicking on “Reset Password”, another window come up where I have to enter new password and after that they acknowledge me with message “Congratulations! You've successfully changed your password.” And even got a mail on Gmail as well.
Finally, in very short time I have reset my password and was ready to tweet.
1. Ultimately, proper context provides good user experience by providing right information at right time so that users can solve their problems faster.
2. The design was very simple and minimal.
3. Provides two options to reset password namely via Email or Phone Number.
Nothing as such. It's really decent experience.
