Udemy - Onboarding Journey
User's onboarding is the first step of the user on the app. App walkthrough in the first step can give a better idea of the app, company and how it will help the user.
Recently I was exploring the product managers role and how great product managers work to build a product that customers love. One of my friend who is also a product manager suggested me to check course on Udemy.
Udemy is an online learning platform, When I download the app first I show walkthrough with two buttons,
A user can browse course without doing signup.
What Udemy contains in their walkthrough?
1. In the first slide, Udemy used video image with user review and low price. In the content part, they write from "Cooking to Coding" by this they showed how many courses they provide.
2. in the second slide, they awarded user with instructor info. In this, they showed how many students they have
3. In the third slide, they awarded user with how Udemy can help learner and how a learner can learn.
After this walkthrough which aware users about what is Udemy, how many users they have and what the user can do with it, It showed signup screen which is also simple and a user can do signup with google or facebook.
1 - By short and informative walkthrough company can an aware user with app features, how can it help a user.
2 - Walkthrough which shows user's need and how app solved it can attract users to use actual features of the app.
